"Wreck Haircut"

In the fall each year, members of the South Florida Spearfishing Club will descend upon the artificial reef, "Rodeo 25".

Wreck Haircut

The primary objective of the dive will be to cut away the snagged material used by anglers and boaters. This material includes monofiliment fishing line, piano wire, steel leaders, anchor line, etc. All of this material presents an entanglement danger both to the marine life and the diver alike.
